Jane's got a goldfish called Sunny that lives in a glass bowl. Jane's little brother, Tom, is only eighteen months old and, one day, he put his hands in the bowl and tried to catch Sunny. Of course, Jane was very about this. She decided to put Sunny's bowl on the highest in the kitchen. 'Be careful!' said Jane's dad when she was putting it up there. 'That's dangerous!'. Last Wednesday Sally's mum and dad were watching the news on TV Sally wanted to watch a programme about animals in the jungle, but her parents said the news was more important. Sally was sad. 

Sally went downstairs to the flat where her friend Mary lived. “Mary”, she said, “Let's use your video camera and make a news programme!”. Together, the girls went round the flats, asking people what they were doing. The artist on the fifth floor was painting a picture of a beautiful beach. The mechanic who lived next to Mary had a new car. 

The girls made a great programme. Mary made two videos. She had one and Sally had the other one. That night Sally went home and put the video in the player. Sally was thinking about it during dinner. Her mother asked her why she wasn't eating her chicken and rice. “Oh”, said Sally, “it's nothing”. 

After dinner, Sally turned on the player. “Mum! Dad! The news is starting!”, she shouted. Her parents came into the living room and sat on the sofa. But they were very surprised when they saw Mary and Sally and not Mr Rainbow, the TV news man. They watched the programme. “Look”, said her dad, “I didn't know Mr West can play the guitar”, Sally laughed. “You see, this is much more interesting than the news”, she said.
