I love all kinds of so on my eighth birthday, my parents gave me a red drum. When I opened the present box, I was very excited to see a drum inside! I jumped for joy and began to play it. I played it all morning and then after lunch, I wanted to play it again. But my mum started to feel tired of the drum sound. The sound was so noisy that she had a bad . My dad said, "David, if you want to play your drum, you should go outside in the garden." I agreed and brought my drum into the garden. I played my drum there for about thirty minutes. Then I some interesting music. I went out into the street and saw lots of people there. It was amazing. There was a circus! They drove into town in the lorries and trucks. The driver of the first truck saw me with my drum so he stopped. He gave me a friendly and invited me to join them. I asked my parents and jumped on the back of the truck with them. I rode into town with them and played my drum all the way there! It was a really experience.

Over one hundred years ago, people didn't use plastic as much today. During its early days, plastic was not much useful. It was also expensive it was unknown widely. Instead plastic things, people used wood or metal things. In 1885, Alexander Parkes a special plastic type called "synthetic plastic". It became quickly from then. 

Today, plastic is much cheaper and can be used in field. It is light in weight and has many different shapes. People use plastic various products. Most everyday items, toys to containers, are made from plastic. Plastic things available in stores, and many people use them in their daily lives. Plastic can be found in many colors and forms, and it has become important invention of modern life.

Painting animals!

My younger brother's name is Michael. He loved animals and exploring animals life so he spent most of his free time reading books and magazines about them. On his seventh birthday, I bought him an animal magazine as a present. In the magazine, there was a poster page. It said there was a competition for children under 10 years old. To join the competition, children had to paint a picture of an animal they like.

Michael was very excited. He told me, "I want to join the competition!" I smiled and said, "Okay, let's get your paints ready." My mom bought Michael paints and brushes. He painted a big, green dinosaur. It looked like it was smiling.

We sent Michael's painting and waited for the result in 2 weeks. Michael didn't win the first prize. He got the second prize but he was still very happy. He received a dinosaur backpack, a T-shirt and 2 books about animals for his prize. Michael was also invited to a talk show about animals for children. He made some new friends there. I thought it was a wonderful memory with him.

Michael was interested in animals life.
