English is my mother . Besides, I can speak French and Spanish. I studied the two languages when I was small. Now, I am still learning Spanish. As for me, mastering a foreign language is not easy. After studying a language, practice is very necessary and useful. Traveling to the country the target language is spoken is very helpful, but if you cannot speak the language well enough you will certainly have troubles. I also frequently go to the movies, watch television, listen to the radio the language I am trying . Reading is another good way to learn. Books are good, I personally think newspapers and magazines are better. However, getting some knowledge of the language is the most important thing. Grammar and vocabulary should be mastered first.

Read the story. Then answer the questions.

Erika has two dogs named Grizz and Muffin. She loves them very much but they both like to get into trouble. An hour after Erika left her house to go to school, Grizz and Muffin started to play. Usually, they just like to chase each other around the house, but today was different.

This time, they were playing in Erika's room and things got a little bit messy. Grizz jumped on her favorite doll and tore it up. He chewed on one of her sweaters and a glove. After that, Muffin jumped up on a painting that was still drying from the night before. Then she walked all over the table. Now there were painted paw prints all over the place.

Things were not finished yet. Muffin loved to hit things that sit on shelves with her paws. She slowly moved to Erika's bookshelf. She found a glass trophy that Erika won from winning a talent contest. Muffin smashed it onto the floor and it broke into thousand pieces.

Finally, the school was over and Erika came back home. She saw the mess that her two pets made. She was very upset. Grizz and Muffin both knew how angry she was from her angry voice. She showed them each bad thing that they did and said "No!" really loud. Grizz and Muffin learned their lesson.
